ABOUT THIS POSITION
We’re looking for a Video Intern to work 15-20 hours/week through summer. This person will help Aceable’s video team in a variety of roles, from pre-production to post. This is an awesome opportunity to build your skill set by helping to produce meaningful work for one of the best places to work in Austin!

Aceable (composed of Aceable.com and AceableAgent.com) is a mobile education platform that focuses on creating affordable, engaging, and convenient educational content across all devices. Built by former teachers, NASA engineers and those passionate about education, the Austin-based team is obsessed with helping people with life’s certification challenges. After launching its first mobile app to provide accredited driver’s ed courses, Aceable is now expanding into other verticals for required education, including real estate continuing education. To date, Aceable touts more than 400,000 users and counting, as it continues to expand nationwide.
ABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM
The video team is comprised of two producers and a 3D Animator. Each member of the team is capable of working as a “one man band”, but they thrive as a team! They produce videos for our courses as well as content for marketing efforts and in-house needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Assist with video productions by learning a variety of roles from script supervisor to boom operator
- Acquire props for shoots, rent equipment, and run errands as needed
- Assist the team in editing and organizing footage, handling deliverables, and creating subtitles
- Transcribe interview footage
- Shoot, edit, and facilitate A/V setup for office events
- Help brainstorm new project ideas with content and marketing teams
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- A reliable mode of transportation that will allow you to transport equipment for shoots
- Experience with an NLE (Adobe Premiere Pro and CC preferred)
- A strong desire to learn and grow
- Enrollment in a college RTF (Radio/Television/Film) program or similar
- Experience with Photoshop
- Familiarity with production equipment (c-stands, flags, etc.)
