ScaleFactor Accounting Manager - Onboarding

You are technically savvy and have an interest in working with current technologies within a business environment. The main purpose of this role will be to work alongside the Onboarding Manager to successfully build relationships and bring new customers into the ScaleFactor community.

Day to Day Activities:

• Perform financial analysis by reviewing profit and loss statements for trends and outliers while simultaneously notating observations
• Leverage technical accounting skills through in-depth balance sheet procedures such as inventory accounting, deferred revenue calculations, and equity management
• Provide financial leadership and support for the customer while cleaning up existing financial activity and catching up any out of date financial history
• Identify gaps and issues with customer processes and documentation
• Develop bookkeeping policies and procedures for customers by establishing and maintaining best practice chart of accounts structures
• Implement and introduce various software and applications to create efficiencies in current processes
• Introduce and familiarize customers with ScaleFactor’s proprietary technology
• Gather customer information and follow up to ensure timeliness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master’s degree & CPA preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in an accounting environment, external customer facing experience preferred
• Experience with cloud-based accounting tools including, but not limited to, Xero, QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Bill.com, and Abacus
• Understanding of the accounting life-cycle and all that it entails for startups and growing businesses
• Sound financial statement understanding including knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Incredible attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously
