 CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER

We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our team who is a creative writer, savvy B2B marketer, and excels at content planning, creation, and promotion. On any given day you will produce various types of downloadable/shareable content, blog regularly, and manage our online communities to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, self accountability, attention to detail, and project management skills. This is not a remote position. This position works within our Austin, TX headquarters.

As the Content Marketing Manager, you:

  • Plan, create, and promote content with the goal of attracting, engaging, and influencing our buying audience at various stages in the marketing funnel generating leads and customers.
  • Write/develop/publish original content that informs, educates, and positions Jobs2Careers as a trusted thought-leader in our space. Your formats of choice include blog articles, social posts, eBooks, webinars, infographics and email, to name a few.
  • Directly manage B2B blog and social media properties (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+) while applying best practices to expand reach, drive traffic, and grow our online communities. Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company and recruitment industry.
  • Implement strategies focused on building and converting audiences into leads and customers; demonstrate ROI by tracking and measuring success, and tie metrics back to larger marketing department goals and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate and align with product marketing, demand generation, sales, SEO and design team members to support efforts with high-quality content.

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree in business, journalism, communications, marketing or relevant experience
  • 4+ years in a B2B content development role
  • 3+ years experience managing blog, social media and developing content calendars
  • Dual-minded approach: you are a highly creative and talented writer yet also process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to inform decisions
  • Demonstrable experience building online audiences and producing content people share/like
  • Working knowledge of basic SEO principles, keyword planning, content distribution methods
  • Ability to plan and create high quality content on time, and execute the marketing process (automation, social distribution, etc.)
  • Results-oriented team player who takes ownership for ensuring consistent achievement of performance goals
  • Punctual, fast learner, and experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. with no current or future employer sponsorship requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Marketing Automation Software
  • Experience in Recruitment/Talent Acquisition industry
  • Familiarity with MQL/SQL marketing lead generation model
