Job description

As the Technical Content Developer for Atlassian’s Customer Success and Innovation (CSI) organization, you will deliver helpful, high-quality content at the right place at the right time, to support a unified and positive experience across the customer engagement journey. You will be a use case specialist, demonstrating a deep understanding of the Atlassian customer journey from implementation to adoption and expansion. You are equipped with content strategy and development skills to build and deliver assets in multiple formats including long and short-form written, visual, and web, driving customer engagement, supporting customer value, and addressing common customer challenges.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years in content development or technical enablement with a preference for prior enterprise SaaS or scaled customer success experience
  • Experience with Atlassian tooling, particularly Jira and Confluence
  • Rock-solid work and time management in a customer-facing environment
  • A data-driven approach to content development and optimization with proven success delivering standard methodologies to customers at scale
  • Experience with one or more of the following solution areas: Agile ways of working, IT service management, or DevOps
  • Interest in working creatively with domain specialists to understand technical and business requirements, as well as uncovering potential challenges
  • Proven success developing sophisticated content ecosystems with a solid grasp of content management and governance
  • Experience crafting engagement paths based on the customer use case, value stream, or cohort segmentation
  • Excellent writing and content strategy skills
  • An understanding of how content drives business objectives
  • A knack for creatively engaging with audiences
  • Experience using design thinking and design processes (critique, user journeys, personas) to improve or validate your work

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop technical and practice-based content assets that map to the Atlassian customer journey across products and solution spaces, including:
  • Technical marketing assets
  • Product configuration and user guides
  • Standard methodologies documents
  • Thought leadership pieces
  • Collaborate with our CSI teams to map content delivery to engagement models for our enterprise customers
  • Understand and define a content strategy that uses inputs from across the business into key advisory practice areas for customer to self-serve
  • Work closely with the advisory, go-to-market, and internal domain specialists to identify existing content that can be repurposed as well as content that needs to be built
  • Design repeatable content practices to support SME content contributions in the form of writing and style guides, templates, content calendars, and governance
  • Review and copy edit content developed by SMEs to align to brand standards
  • Self coordinate projects and collaboration stream to meet delivery timelines
