What you’ll do:

Manage the business, marketing and operations for the KW Publishing Division, leading book projects from concept to manuscript in collaboration with a team of writers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a team of writers and researchers to create best in class books, ensuring all team members have the tools and guidance to do their best work.
• Oversee the daily operations, controlling schedules, project outlines and enforcing editorial deadlines.
• Partner with publishers to develop marketing and PR strategies for book launch and distribution.
• Develop and oversee editorial strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10 or more years of writing and/or editing experience.
• 4 or more years of management experience.
• Proficient in MS office and Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or related field.
• Experience negotiating publishing contracts.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong editorial skills.
