Rooster Teeth is looking for an experienced Post Production Supervisor who will integrate workflow efficiencies that enable the effective execution of projects against our creative needs, business strategies and initiatives. You will be expected to handle multiple projects and take responsibility for ensuring the technical excellence of all work delivered while maintaining Rooster Teeth voice.

You will provide effective leadership through collaboration, strong motivation, empowerment, coaching, training, and direction that fosters a challenging, yet results-oriented and rewarding environment.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a post-production department in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilties:

  • Stay current on new developments in technology to add value to the overall quality and efficiency of productions
  • Keep the technology strategy and resources for department ahead of the curve
  • Fine tune current production infrastructure and internal workflows to enable fast-paced, successful delivery of our original productions
  • Assess and address any existing and potential issues in bottlenecks and workflows
  • Collaborate with Post Producer and production teams to define key post workflows such as camera capture, color pipeline, master delivery, and final archive
  • Work with Post Producer, Producers, and Associate Producers to prepare and vet budgets and schedules, providing feedback internally and externally on viability and risks
  • Search for key hires for our interdisciplinary team
  • Determine key post vendors to accommodate creative vision and relationships, tax incentives, budget needs
  • Work with Post Producer to provide staff development opportunities to the post production team
  • Interface with IT to prioritize technology/infrastructure needs and planning on behalf of the department

Qualifications:

  • 7+ Years as a Post Production Supervisor working on a freelance or staff basis, having worked with medium and high budget studio, major production company and network series and films
  • Degree in a Broadcast, Media or Production-related field, or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Demonstrate experience with VFX, audio, and video finishing workflows
  • Team-player who excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Understand how to prioritize and respond accordingly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Passion for film, video, new technologies and trends
  • Knowledge of video industry standard formats, and media asset management practices on Mac/Windows platforms and networked environments.
  • Experience in managing budgets
