Chive Media Group is looking for an experienced Video Editor to help create original and branded content. Candidates must have strong narrative instincts and be extremely competent with Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Must be organized, efficient at managing your time across multiple projects, and focused on deadlines. Standout candidates are well rounded in all aspects of production with general camera, audio, and lighting proficiency as well.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Editing a consistent flow of video projects varying between montages, interviews, narratives and promo reelsSearching music libraries for background tracksExporting final edits to multiple delivery formatsArchiving finished projectsShooting video as a support crew when necessary. The best candidate is also a capable shooter and sometimes producer when called for.Must demonstrate a clear understanding of our voice and brand.Must be a team player with flexibility and a collaborative nature.Eagerness to constantly learn, improve, and try new things is a huge plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive video editing experience. Must be a reasonably quick editor able to handle regular workflow and deadlinesProficiency in Premiere Pro is a must. After Effects, Photoshop, and other creative application skills are a plus.A sharp eye for good footage and a strong sense for narrative, timing and tone.Must be able to learn our brand and style while effectively collaborating with and addressing notes from Producers.Graphic/Title design, Audio Mixing, Color Correction competency.A good ear for music.Strong background in conceptual, creative, and visual thinking.Experience creating online branded content for similar media brands
