We are seeking a Manager, Data Engineering who will join a team focusing on building the next generation of Unity's monetization suite. As the leading development platform for online and mobile games, Unity is helping take developer's creations further and faster than ever before. Unity Monetization enables developers to build a business through advertising, in-app purchase and analytics.

What you’ll be doing

• You will be an integral part of the Data & Analytics leadership team for Unity Operate’s Monetize business
• You will be a key contributor to our overall strategy, and lead HOW we optimize and scale Ads data and analytical services
• You will work side by side with leaders from design, engineering, product management, and program management to enhance and transform Ads journeys
• You will engage in key technical and design discussions with technical leads in the team, and build large-scale machine learning models and deploy them to millions of consumers

What we’re looking for

• Broad understanding of how to demonstrate large datasets to improve decision-making, or set clear goals and priorities, in Ads business context
• Extensive knowledge of how to scale the impact of Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and others exponentially, e.g. by building out easily configurable compute frameworks for distributed use
• Broad knowledge of existing and emerging tools for extracting, ingesting, and processing of large datasets (e.g. Kafka, Spark)
• Inclusive leadership where you constantly drive for alignment through effective communication
• Excellent knowledge of ad serving platforms and online advertising systems
