Working across Customer Success (CSO) departments of Manufacturing, Professional Services, Technical Support, and Technical Learning Services departments, Sr. Data Analyst will drive critical business insights to fundamentally improve the service and customer experience we provide to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of our customers, partners, and products, and how they impact on our business to inform important decisions across CSO
• Define critical KPIs and build core operating dashboards to help the CSO departments drive operational rigor and manage performance
• Use data to conduct in-depth analyses and build statistical models to identify trends and develop forecasts in support of making day to day decisions as part of managing the business
• Design complex SQL scripts and queries to obtain, transform, compare, maintain, and clean datasets.
• Transfer these datasets into visualization applications like Excel and Tableau.
• Design user-friendly experiences in your data visualizations and delivery methods using creativity and advanced technical formatting skills in Excel and Tableau.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about the power of data to drive critical business decisions, fluent in data manipulation, and is comfortable working cross-functionally.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience  
• Finance/Business Intelligence experience in Service Delivery related field
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, etc. or non-math based Bachelor’s Degree with 6-10 years of experience as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, DBA or closely related role
• Ability to identify & solve major questions across the company with a data-driven approach
• Advanced data manipulation skills in SQL
• Extremely strong macro, formula, pivot table, and visualization skills in Microsoft Excel, with Cube knowledge highly preferred
• High level of proficiency with MS Office applications including PowerPoint
• Agile mindset with an eye toward real-time data analyses that provide quick business insights in simple and business consumer-friendly formats
• Demonstrated analytical skills to problem solve effectively
• Strong strategic thinking and consultative skills
• Exceptionally strong background in designing attractive and precise data stories in Tableau and Powerpoint
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce reporting, schemas, and dashboard creation.
• Very strong quantitative and communicative skills, relentless drive, and an obsession with detail are all must-haves in this role to excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
