Senior Manager, Business Intelligence (Austin or Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Manager to lead a high-performing team with a passion for infrastructure, business intelligence and driving informed business decisions from data.
As a Senior Manager you will lead our BI team in supporting our Customer Support Services organization with improving and innovating measurement model and data instrumentations across product, platform, and funnel! You and your team will lead strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights, guide initiatives to measure business health, such as building dashboards and key performance indicators.
The ideal candidate for our team will have a background in applied statistics or economics (or a related quantitative field), strong business acumen, experience delivering data visualization solutions and business insights, know how to manage stakeholders, and drive roadmap for the team. You will also be a self-starter, eager to learn, passionate about impact, and have proven success in building data tooling and insights to drive understanding, progression, and decision making for large organizations.
In this role, you will:
- Hire, lead, and strengthen a team of analysts with great technical skills, characteristics, and team fit
- Define and build data visualization strategy to support business objectives
- Drive high quality analytics output to inform business decisions
- Manage stakeholders requests, facilitate tradeoff conversations, and build roadmap for the team
- Serve as scrum master and remove blockers when needed
- Define and iterate processes and technical stack to improve scale and quality
- Build partnerships with key members within and outside of the Customer Support Services (CSS) organization
On the first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 5+ years as a people leader
- 10+ years experience in analytics field
- Strong business acumen that you can help your team navigate through complexity and ambiguity
- Strong communication skills to tell data stories to non-technical audience
- Robust technical background in statistics, measurement, data visualization, SQL, R/Python, data instrumentation
- Project management skills
It's great, but not required, if you have :
- Experience hiring and developing a distributed global team
- Experience in B2B, customer support, customer success
- Experience with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)
