We’re looking for a design padawan who has that magic combination of usability focus, creative passion, and inquisitive sensibility that makes an exceptional Jr designer.

This is your chance to be step up to the plate, level up your skills, and be a critical component in how Jungle Scout defines the experience of its suite of tools and empowers its incredible (and exponentially growing) user base to become their own bosses.

You will be a key player on the product design team, executing designs, collaborating on solutions, and cranking out features, flows, and ui elements for our digital tools.

Your work will require a considerate understanding of UX design best practices across platforms and a creative flare for Ui as well. You’ll need a holistic understanding of how people use software and how to execute designs in Sketch. You need to be a self-starter that is more focused on getting that MVP out the door than suffering from analysis paralysis when it comes to where exactly that button needs to be placed.  

Your Responsibilities:

• Work the with product design team to define and refine the user experience of the Jungle Scout suite of tools.
• Work closely with our team of amazing designers to maintain and enhance our design component library and overall aesthetic.
• Work collaboratively with other departments from product management, to customer support, and marketing to ensure we are serving our customers up the best solutions to their problems.
• Design, test, release, learn and repeat.
• Help build and follow processes and procedures that can scale as we grow.

Your Qualifications:

• A portfolio that displays a deep understanding of best practices and modern trends in design.
• Experience as a designer in a startup, product, or agency setting.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to work across functional teams (engineering, product, marketing, customer success and more).
• Entrepreneurial. You need to be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and defining your own direction. You can operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment with the capacity to make informed decision and guide our customer’s success.
