Designer
The Designer role will report directly to an Art Director. This individual will be responsible for producing all manner of creative deliverables from concept to completion. This individual will design primarily in-store marketing collateral but must also be comfortable crossing over into web, email and social media when the project requires. The ability to conceptualize across channels and platforms is a must. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking/design skills who can process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner. This individual should be able to take direction and thrive in a collaborative environment. They should be able to turn around good creative under fast-paced deadlines. Beyond that, we are looking for a creative thought leader. Someone who can not only surface great ideas, but who can sell those ideas upward and defend them across the department. And finally, we want to work alongside people who are as passionate about the mission of Whole Foods Market as we are.
Responsibilities:
- Design large scale, business critical projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision
- Help to ensure that all work coming from the department is accountable to our
Brand Guidelines - Create assets for in-store, digital and social media
- Art direct photoshoots
- Present creative to stake holders
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Creative thought leader
- Strong conceptual design skills
- Excellent typographical skills
- Ability to Art Direct photoshoots

Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree and at least 2-4 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop),
and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowing Sketch is a major plus
