Learning Experience Designer

This role represents an opportunity to take ownership of projects and add value to our existing curriculum with the support of a dynamic & collaborative team. Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with leaders to determine the most effective method for training based on the topic and audience.
- Assist in launching our new Learning Management System and identify improvements and opportunities.
- Create and execute a plan to audit and update active learning assets.
- Design innovative blended learning experiences for sales and support teams, ensuring they are scalable and effective.
- Translate subject matter expertise for product and and sales skills into learning experiences that drive engagement.
- Build and execute learning strategies for major sales enablement initiatives, apply creativity, problem solve, and design innovative learning solutions.
- Develop learning approaches tailored to our culture, selling practices, and needs.
- Own content creation, with occasional support from our graphic design team.
- Identify learning paths to support talent management initiatives.
- Curriculum management, including project prioritization & management.
- Ongoing content management.
- Keep our LMS up-to-date & functional for all users.
- Design user-centered learning experiences supported by adult learning theory.
- Design and develop creative, learner-centered training programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities including synchronous remote learning methodologies, blended classroom learning, interactive e-learning modules, videos, job aides, and facilitator guides, and practice, review, and resource materials.
- Design and help facilitate train-the-trainer knowledge transfer sessions for new programs as required, and support facilitators.
- Facilitate on occasion key learning programs in either a physical classroom or virtual setting, including the launch of any pilot programs.
- Collaborate with managers, department leaders, & the sales team to understand objectives and learning goals.
- Contribute to other Learning & Development projects & initiatives as needed
Education and/or Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, preferred (ie: Education or Experience ).
- 3+ years of professional experience in designing and developing learning experiences, in roles such as instructional designer, learning experience designer, learning specialist or similar.
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design.
- 1+ year of experience in a high-growth sales environment.
- A proven ability to see projects through from start to finish independently and in a timely manner.
- Strong knowledge of interaction design principles and working knowledge of broader design principles.
- Experience with the following tools is a plus; Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Rise, Google Suite.
- Adept at prioritizing multiple projects and juggling timelines without missing a beat!
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with organizational leaders.
- A professional & engaging written communication style. You know how to combine learning objectives and company culture to create seamless deliverables
