Your Impact

DISCO is looking for a talented and passionate Motion Graphics Designer to join our growing marketing team. You will report to the Creative Director and collaborate with other marketing team leaders to graphically communicate abstract legal and technological concepts in 2D. These animations will be used in digital ads, website graphics, explainer videos, and more. Still versions of your vector designs will be used to support print and online projects. This role is for marketing — it does not involve designing for the DISCO software itself.  

As a member of the Creative Services department, your role is to make DISCO look good. Creating a professional appearance for the company is valuable to current customers, prospective customers, and your fellow employees.

What You'll Do

• Execute beautiful and engaging animations for a variety of marketing projects and campaigns.
• Develop creative visual design solutions for marketing projects.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and experts in other departments to visually explain abstract technological and legal concepts using illustration and animation.
• Edit and color grade recorded footage for online videos. 
• Assist in creating still versions of animations to be used as supporting illustrations for print and online projects.
• Handle expectations and deadlines with internal clients and vendors to keep projects on track.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of animation experience
• You have a portfolio that contains strong examples of 2D vector animation, vector illustration, video editing, and design. 
• You have ideas, confidence, and a passion for doing good work, not just getting the job done.
• You are proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere. 
• You have expert 2D animation skills in Adobe After Effects. 
• You are proficient with vector illustration and design, whether modifying and remixing stock graphics, or creating from scratch.
• You understand the basics of video editing and color grading for Adobe Premiere Pro.
