Sr Designer

ClearDATA is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Sr Designer with both print and digital experience. This role will be responsible for creating innovative designs across various asset types that are effective at translating verbal messages into visual ones. The candidate should have a portfolio demonstrating a proven ability to create sales collateral and other promotional materials, infographics, tradeshow graphics, presentations, digital/display ads, and web/mobile layouts. Video production and editing experience is a plus.

The Senior Designer should have in-depth knowledge of Adobe CC applications as well as an advanced knowledge of Wordpress and MS PowerPoint. Success factors include the ability to juggle multiple projects within a short period of time, maintain/promote brand consistency throughout the organization, and create highly usable designs across various platforms.

The ideal candid is independent, self-motivated, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. This role is based in Austin, TX and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations. What You’ll Do:

  • Design new assets for a wide range of projects, including sales and marketing collateral, infographics, tradeshow graphics, presentations, digital ads, and web pages.

  • Knowledge of display advertising standards and guidelines on web and social platforms, including banners and other ad formats.

  • Manage current WordPress website, creating new pages and layouts when necessary.

  • Facilitate the development and/or improvement of design processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

  • Maintain and promote brand consistency throughout all marketing projects.

  • Lead the execution and production of new design concepts with both business and technical stakeholders, determining the best format to execute ideas.

  • Evaluate our brand’s visual identity across a range of media, creating and updating style guides and templates when applicable.

  • Ensure quality and pixel perfect layouts when preparing deliverables for handoff to printers, developers, clients, etc.

  • Organize all current and new design elements such as icons, photography, typography, and colors in easy to access places for internal employees to find and use.

  • Potential to work on broader creative work including video, email templates, and social.

What You’ll Need :

  • 6-8 years of industry experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

  • Expert in Adobe CC applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress and MS PowerPoint.

  • 2 years of experience working within a digital asset management workflow, i.e. Jira, Agile Central (RTC), Confluence or other dev/design tracking and planning tools.

  • Ability to take technical concepts and represent conceptually through visuals and graphics.

  • Understanding of design principles in both print and digital formats.

  • Knowledge of current web standards, optimization techniques, and fundamentals of web usability.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines.

  • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts.

  • Can take direction and constructive criticism in a collaborative environment while providing rationale for design choices.

  • Videography production and editing experience (Final Cut, After Effects, etc.) is a plus.

  • Web development experience and a working knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
