Storyboard Artist - (Contract)
We are looking for a skilled Storyboard Artist to hop on board and join our ever growing animation team. Responsibilities will involve working with the director to visualize story beats quickly and clearly. Work can be done from afar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Director and Layout Lead to communicate ideas through storyboards
- Self-assess progress and utilize time management techniques to meet deadlines and milestones
- Address any problems with director and producer
- Able to offer strong solutions
- Communicate progress of work to producer and to appropriate production staff
- Ensure quality and style of show is consistently achieved in storyboard work
- Follow proper document management requirements, according to the production’s guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience on past productions
- In-depth proficiency with chosen digital drawing software
- Strong sense of visual storytelling (emphasis on fight choreography and timing, shot composition, and poses)
- Strong understanding of camera techniques and principles
- Strong will and self-motivation to complete tasks on time
- Work well within a team
- Resume and portfolio
- Deep knowledge of Anime is a plus
