Rex is a billion-dollar technology, investment, and real estate company led by Executive Chairman Peter Rex. We are launching a number of stealth tech companies within the Rex ecosystem, and our mission is to leverage technology to transform industries and key players that have been historically underserved, starting with real estate.
We are hiring multiple User Experience Designers to help build each of these companies, which currently range from initial concept to minimal viable product:
PropData, a data intelligence platform for real estate, investing, reporting, and due diligence
PayUp, a FinTech tool that will enable fast, hassle-free capital for service providers, so they can focus on growing their business
PrimePro, a platform that will empower gig workers as they find jobs and manage their careers
InsurePro, AI-driven insurance that provides by the minute coverage for workers, giving them access to higher paying jobs while lowering their operational costs
What you’ll do:
- Work directly with the product, engineering, and operations team
- Provide strategic thinking around user-research and UX & UI
- Establish key design language to build out the product
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize strategic roadmap for product expansion
- Create delightful online and offline experiences
- Recruiting and building teams at Rex is a top priority, each person will participate in interviewing prospective candidates
Who you are:
- 5+ years of UX and UI experience in a high-demand, fast-paced environment, ideally startup experience
- Obsessed with all aspects of human-centered design in personal and professional life
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage companies
- An extreme level of attention to detail, removing all possible friction from users
- Bold and confident in your design prowess while humble when collaborating and eager to implement new ideas
- Engaged in the design community, maintaining high visibility and staying on the pulse of design trends, principles, and techniques
- Ability to work in person on hybrid schedule in Austin, Texas (or willing to relocate)
