Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Digital Experience Lead will be responsible for leading Electrical Markets Division (EMD) efforts across 3M.com, our channel portal and applications. This individual will also be responsible for managing and executing numerous data management and content creation initiatives

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Works with Electrical Markets Division (EMD) content marketing, digital, segment and product marketing teams to ensure effective placement and execution of new content on EMD websites to enhance customer experience
• Exhibits a strong understanding of 3M design pattern libraries
• Builds Axure wireframes and works with web development to get them developed
• Manages process for development of new webpages and edits to existing pages
• Communicates status of progress on outstanding web development projects to all stakeholders
• Reviews and tests webpages to ensure there are no errors and that changes are completed as needed
• Ensures all media assets are loaded into Celum, properly attributed and are easily accessible
• Leads global effort to improve / maintain EMD intranets
• Leads effort to improve EMD extranet for our channel partners
• Facilitates new product digitization by working with a cross-functional team
• Leads effort to create website tools that are useful to our customers and employees
• Drives data cleanup efforts for EMD and implements processes to maintain data quality
• Works with multiple agencies to facilitate creation of content needed
• Design graphics for use on 3M website, various third party websites (channel partners), channel portal and other platforms
• Design and edit graphics that meet campaign needs and 3M brand standards
• Edits video files as needed and provides feedback on various forms of digital content

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Minimum of three (3) years of digital marketing experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of digital content creation experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of web analytics and data management experience
• Two (2) years of web design and development experience
• Two (2) years of graphic design experience
• Experience with vendor and agency management
• Experience in building web pages and wireframes
• Experience in managing product data for a manufacturer or ecommerce company
• Strong understanding of responsive web design
• Strong analytical skills and very detail oriented
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Graphic design capabilities include creating original assets (e.g. banner ads) and editing photos to meet business needs
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a collaborative environment
• Must be organized, self-managed, detail-oriented, self-motivated and deadline oriented
• B2B marketing experience - experience in the electrical industry a plus
