JOB TITLE: Accounting Manager - Internal Audit

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager - Internal Audit, you are on a team who drives top quality and efficiency among the Customer Experience team of accountants at ScaleFactor. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• You are intuitive and can read people well to know their strengths and weaknesses
• You are a driver of process and efficiency improvements and are excited about being a catalyst of change in a start-up environment
• You thrive on problem solving and deep diving into issues to get to the root cause 
• You provide quality control and are ultimately responsible for ensuring that the deliverables our clients receive adhere to ScaleFactor’s high-quality standards
• Your attention to detail is top notch, some might even call you a “stickler” for the details
• You love and appreciate the technical side of accounting 
• You understand and can implement processes and procedures while understanding the impact on other departments
• You enjoy problem solving and know how to efficiently approach issues in a fast-paced environment
• You practice Radical Candor in your professional relationships
• You are well adept at standardizing audit processes and have extensive experience ensuring accurate financials across a large volume of customers
• You view the product and engineering team as partners in improving the features of our proprietary software by testing, rolling out to internal / external teams and providing product feedback to product managers and developers 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting with 7 to 10 years experience in accounting and equivalent roles
• 4+ years of experience in an auditor function or role across multiple industries
• Experience working with start-up companies and fast-growing businesses
• Technological optimist with experience using various platforms plus a working knowledge of cloud accounting tools including but not limited to Xero, QBO, Gusto, Bill.com, and Abacus
