Entrepreneurs can quite literally start, grow and manage their businesses with our hand-picked suite of top-tier SAAS tools.

We’re looking to grow the company and need you, an experienced developer, to help us get there. We believe in full flexibility, working on awesome projects, and having fun at work.

REQUIREMENTS

Who You Are:

• You have a team first mentality
• You love solving problems
• You’ve launched a mini-app in your spare time or have an idea for a few apps
• You like learning things and probably are always reading a book or new blogs on the latest technology
• Local preferred, but remote okay

What Does a Typical Week Look Like?

• Meet with Head of Engineering to review and tweak roadmap
• Meet with Product Designer to see latest mock-ups and provide feedback
• Code features using test-driven development to be shipped the following week
• Test code in dev environment
• Ship bug-free code that delights millions of users
• Use data to tweak and iterate your features

Your manager’s working style?

• Flexible and coaching driven
• Encourages pushback and involvement in the strategic roadmap decisions
• Prefers autonomy and ownership and hates to micro-manage
• Like proactive development and minimal hand-holding

What Results Would You Drive?

• Drawdown 30% of our Engineering Roadmap over the next year
• Help reduce AppSumo’s site-speed to under 1 second
• Build a personalized machine learning product recommendation engine

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience developing
• Experience with front and back-end (full stack)
• Open to PHP, Java, Ruby on Rails, Node, Python, Go, or Data Engineers
• Experience with databases
• Working knowledge of Python or Django (or can learn it very quickly)
