We’re looking for a development lead to mentor and direct the work of two nearshore teams! You'll be an essential communication link between nearshore and Austin folks. We want someone who's excited to solve business challenges hand in hand with our product managers. Together you’ll translate the vision and roadmap into user stories and partner with individual developers to define, estimate, and deliver solutions in an agile manner. This is a highly collaborative role, so you’ll need a technical background mixed with a passion for making others around you better.

The Gig

• Design and run experiments to validate our product value propositions and design ideas
• Partner with Product and Customer Success to continuously deliver value, measure progress, and course-correct along the way 
• Review and give feedback on your team’s solutions, relying on a good sense of how to design enterprise-class web architecture 
• Provide technical leadership through coaching and mentorship

About You

• 5+ years in software engineering with a few of ‘em spent leading small, technical teams, with offshore/nearshore experience a plus
• Your tech chops include experience in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, or strong interest to learn them + excellent bug analysis and triage skills
• You’re familiar with agile software development processes and iterative delivery cycles, Scrum Master certification is a plus
• You’re self-motivated and have a knack for bringing folks together on a problem
• You’re inclusive of different working styles and help others work well together, which means you’re also a clear + concise communicator
• You’re innately curious and fanatical about learning, especially when it comes to understanding dev best practices, trends, and techniques
• You’re positive, adaptable, and always ready to pitch in and help
