Responsibilities

In this role, you will be ensuring that all Unity Developers have the right tools, infrastructure, automation and monitoring to develop the next generation features within the new Unity Package Manager Infrastructure. This infrastructure is key to the company’s success, and you will be at the forefront of its expansion. Working closely with local team members and with Unity teams around the world, you will help integrate the Unity Package Manager Ecosystem to existing development processes to provide outstanding experiences to the developers. 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development
  • Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories
  • Experience of client/server interaction and technology (requests, security/access control, load, use cases, traffic modeling, scalability, performance)
  • Knowledge of Javascript, Python and web development technologies
  • Experience with package management systems
  • Experience with continuous integration/deployment environment and automated testing
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure with Google Cloud and/or other hosting providers
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform and/or other containerization and orchestration tools
  • Strong spoken and written communication and relationship-building skills
  • College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline 

Bonus points

  • Game industry experience
  • Content creation software product development experience
  • Experience with the Unity platform
  • Proficient development using C#
