The Director, Cloud Computing/Infrastructure Operations is part of the End User Technology and Infrastructure Service Team that delivers desktop support for employees and network/server infrastructure support for the organization. We are responsible for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, security, development, upgrades and support of desktops, laptops, servers, handheld devices, printers, drivers, software, email, patches and operating systems within our environment. The Manager, Infrastructure Operations will be responsible for Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud TechOps, and Cloud Networking.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Azure Infrastructure team and act as point person for initiatives across the organization by managing and hiring the Cloud Engineering team, building roadmaps and setting priority, managing work and tickets to facilitate Team success, evaluating spend in Azure and report to leadership weekly, assist team members in removing roadblocks as the come up, and periodically providing senior management with an overview of performance and initiatives
  • Set Azure architectural standard for our environment moving forward, design automation for Azure infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code), work closely with our technology partners to design best in class Azure system implementations, ensure adherence to our SOC2 compliance
  • Work closely with our Lead Network Engineer to deliver great system performance for our users
  • Manage and support Barracuda firewall
  • Build, administer and maintain Windows Server environment
  • Maintain and support Tableau environment and SAS server environment
  • Manage and support Fax solution, WVD environments, and SFTP environment
  • Manage Jira ticket system for team and run Agile ceremonies and establish and maintain documentation for our Azure environment
  • Manage projects and gathering requirements for team

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience required
  • Three (3) or more years of experience managing a team of Cloud Systems Engineers required
  • Eight (8) or more years’ experience providing technical/security support to end users required
  • Five (5) years’ experience with Azure or Azure Solutions Architect Certification required
  • Five (5) years’ experience with Windows Server management and support required
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Good understanding of ARM Templates and/or Terraform
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and manage technical projects, including identification of project scope, requirements, deliverables, and coordination of project design and implementation activities
