We are looking for an entry-level front end developer with good design skills to help us onboard customers and tailor our SaaS platform solution to fill our customer’s needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good communication and project management skills, and of course a solid knowledge of modern JavaScript, HTML and styling. An interest and excitement for the content marketing space is also a plus.

Responsibilities will include adopting our product to the look and feel of customer’s websites by tailoring HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. This role will also require communicating directly with customers. There may be the opportunity to help build out web apps and tooling to support future customer deployments.

Ideal candidate will have

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Excitement for working at a startup.
• Solid knowledge of CSS3 / HTML5.
• Understands responsive design principles.
• Solid understanding of CSS Preprocessors and how to best utilize them.
• Familiarity with best practices for behaving as a good 3rd party application.
• Comfortable writing vanilla javascript optimized for cross browser compatibility and small payload.
• Comfortable using client side developer tools like Firebug or Chrome dev tools.
• Not phased by time-sensitive projects and tight deadlines.
• Can transform wireframes and mockups into functional html/css/javascript.
• Good communication skills.
• Understands polyfills and browser hacks
• Able to use version control systems (GIT preferred)

Preferred candidate should have

• Experience with Flexbox.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Familiarity with RESTful concepts.
