Dandy is reimagining pet wellness with data-driven predictive modeling and a learning approach to wellness based recommendations. We're looking for junior level front-end engineers who want to be part of a mission-driven start-up helping dogs and their people live healthier, happier lives together.

We are seeking a passionate, driven, and detail-oriented individual to join the team as our lead Front-End Developer. This role requires working across various applications to build out products and features for Dandy's dynamic platform. You'll be working with a smart, experienced team to accelerate innovation in pet health and e-comm with the Dandy vision of becoming the next great platform in pet wellness. You will be expected to design, plan and build various projects from conception to completion.

Our ideal candidate is excited, proactive and engaged in building out branded product and platform experiences with a focus on design and functionality. They should be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, think creatively and outside the box, and work collaboratively.

Job Responsibilities 

-Be our front-end expert.

- Build final code from wireframes and style guides.

-Help developing components of Angular front end, NodeJS 

-Write elegant, easily maintainable, readable and reusable code.

-Collaborate with our startup team (ops, marketing, data etc)

-Accept feedback received from end-users and incorporate it into enhancing the website.

-Provide guidance and timelines to future efforts.

Ideally, you will have

-3-5 years of experience with web development and a track record of successful projects 

-Experience in a startup and growth-stage environments

-Experience with JavaScript framework and its ecosystem AngularJS, AdonisJS 

-Plus: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform

-Excellent written and verbal communication as well as an eye for spelling, grammar, etc.

-Must love dogs :-)
