Job Description Summary

CCC Drive combines mobility technology and high-powered data and analytics software into a single, revolutionary offering in the usage-based auto insurance (UBI) market. Usage-based insurance means using electronic sensors to measure how a car is driven and setting rates based on those sensor readings. Drive’s offering helps drivers improve their driving and benefit from personalized rates and safe-driver discounts. Recent contract signings are establishing CCC as a leader in telematics and usage of big data and cloud platforms to provide real time driving scoring.

Job Duties

As a Frontend Engineer at CCC you will:
* Design and implement user interfaces for customers, partners, and client service teams, working closely together with product managers and designers
* Build new features, working closely together with backend developers to establish workflows and APIs
* Participate in highly technical customer support and help our team to triage bugs

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience delivering web and mobile applications, with a focus on frontend.
* 2+ years of experience working on one or more of the following MVC or MVVM frameworks: Angular, React, Ember, or Knockout
* 2+ years of experience working with HTML5, CSS3, and familiarity with concepts like layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, responsive design
* Experience with JavaScript, DOM, and AJAX
* Understanding of E2E Internet application architecture including browser concepts, HTTP, REST, Security and DB concepts.
* Demonstrate an understanding of how the web works and are familiar with REST API design and HTTP fundamentals.
* You work well in an agile environment and are committed to team success.
* A strong understanding of asynchronous request handling such as AJAX and Web sockets
* Experiencing writing maintainable and testable code unit tests and integration tests
* BS/BA in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
