Job Summary

We are small, but mighty, growing fast and looking to accelerate that growth by adding a stellar Front End Engineer to our team! Successful candidates will demonstrate extreme attention to detail, solid understanding of JavaScript, and the ability to succeed in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment. What We're Expecting

• Experience shipping and maintaining SaaS, browser-based applications

• Strong JavaScript knowledge and experience with front-end frameworks like Vue and React

• Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Experience with responsive design and implementation

• The ability to communicate about user experience with technical and non-technical colleagues

• Experience iterating on designs from release to release to make them the best they can be

• Experience using version control, git, and GitHub

• Ability to break work into tasks and provide rough level-of-effort estimates on each

• Appreciation for process-based development (estimation, pull requests, etc)

• Ability to listen to others and accept input from team members

• Excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication

• Shows initiative for learning by seeking out answers to daily technical challenges

• Establishes good working relationships with team members, working collaboratively in a distributed team environment 

• Ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team growing rapidly

• Strives to help the team succeed, even when it means working outside the job description

Bonus points for...

• Experience working with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, and/or Elixir

• Familiarity with data visualization libraries

• Contributions to open-source projects, or a project of your own

• Experience working in a fast-paced development environment
