Web Developer III

Essential Functions:

• Ensure the website maintains a high standard of quality when pertaining to web code, including JavaScript, jQuery and CSS.
• Work within an Agile Lifecycle Methodology to plan, estimate, design, develop, test, and deploy capabilities.
• Review and ensure technical feasibility of UI / UX designs 
• Responsible for all front-end development
• Offer solutions to problems and improvements
• Implement tests using Adobe Target

Required Skills/Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or years of equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of front-end development
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Experience with Git & Jira, or equivalent versioning & ticketing systems
• Experience working with large website projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional, yet personable, demeanor
• Able to manage multiple, detailed projects at the same time and to work both independently and as a member of a small team
• Knowledge of best practices to optimize backend performance
