Job Overview

We are looking for a full stack-developer to join our early startup. In this role you will be our first technical hire and will work closely alongside the founders. To be successful, you will have to be the ‘roll up your sleeves’ type who likes working in the entire suite and lifecycle of software development - from ideation to maintenance.

We have 2 main software products: an external tool showing our customers the progress of their manufactured products and an internal tool that helps us keep organized and running smoothly.

A typical day for you will consist of feature development (both front end and back end), bug fixing, devops, monitoring and technical support. This is a great opportunity for an engineer wanting to make their mark in an organization and is comfortable being the technical center of it all.

  • Experience designing enterprise level architecture

  • Strong testing point of view -- unit testing and automated system testing

  • Create a CI/CD pipeline (software of your choice)

  • Google analytics (tagging only)

 

About You

  • Self starting

  • Great at quickly making it work

  • Comfortable at an early-stage startup

  • Comfortable being the sole technical person on the team

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (required)

  • 1-2 years experience in software development

  • Experience in the AWS ecosystem

  • Experience and understanding of Redis, MongoDB, and S3

  • Experience using and designing RESTful APIs

  • Experience in DevOps

  • Ability to work in an agile development lifecycle and a continuous delivery model

  • Great communication skills are a must-have
