Mobile Engineer - iOS

What we’re looking for

This position requires a motivated individual with iOS development experience. You will be working with our existing mobile developers to help build on our current products. We need someone that can help us enhance and expand the features in our mobile products. We are a diverse group of people with a broad range of backgrounds, experience, and perspectives who have a lot of work to do and would love to have your help in achieving our visionary goals.

Responsibilities

  • Update our applications with new features and work with the team to resolve bugs.

  • Help develop and integrate our new iOS SDK into existing applications.

  • Perform code reviews and approve new updates for releases.

  • Partner with our Product Manager and Project Owners in defining, designing, and building a user-friendly experience that meets the needs of internal and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrated knowledge of how to properly architect mobile applications

  • Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment

  • Any other duties needed to help drive to our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values

Extra Points:

  • Experience with machine learning

  • Experience with TestFlight and Apple Developer Console

  • Experience with AWS

  • Android development experience

  • Experience with backend development technologies for building REST APIs

The Technologies We Use:

  • Kotlin

  • Swift

  • Cloudbees Feature Flagging

  • React Native

  • Firebase

  • AWS (many different services)

  • Buddy CI/CD

  • GitHub

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on coding experience with Swift and iOS SDKs.

  • Experience with native iOS development and app distribution

  • Ability to collaborate with peers, and cross-functionally with other engineers and team leads.

  • BS EE/CS/CE is preferred but not required.

  • Equivalent work experience (at least a year)
