InMotion Software, a leading mobile developer in Austin, Texas, is looking to hire a full-time contract QA Analyst to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products to our customers. The QA Analyst will be responsible for building test and release procedures for both games and cross-platform applications, performing hands-on testing, and working closely with the development team to ensure that all builds meet high-quality delivery status.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform hands-on testing of all products (apps, games, etc.) and document any defects.
• Create and implement test plans.
• Create release builds for clients on a regular basis.
• Work directly with developers, and customers on occasion, to resolve bugs and handle customer support issues.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong hands-on testing skills (general testing and regression testing).
• Previous experience working with a bug-tracking system.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing testing documentation.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, as we often work with outside clients on products.

DESIRABLE

• Experience with JIRA.
• Knowledge of Java and server-side testing.
• Previous testing experience within game development.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Experience coordinating with external or remote test groups.
• Stress and load testing experience.
