Responsibilities:

• Be a true servant-leader, providing technical leadership and mentoring other technical team members
• Write excellent, maintainable and scalable code in Python
• Provide in-depth and always-improving code reviews to your team
• Contribute to the design and development of product features
• Troubleshoot and support production, addressing technical debt to improve sustainability
• Scope and estimate work to help with overall project planning and assist in resource planning
• Maintain high standards of quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
• Collaborate with the other developers and data engineers
• Showcase logic/solution-driven thinking
• Flexible and able to change direction as the business and technology evolves and changes
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Work with product and other internal teams to build cross-team functionality and troubleshoot issues
• Ability to adjust communication style and level of detail to their audience (C-level, dev team, product etc.)
• Enjoys an agile development environment; Experienced with scrum
• Experience as a scrum master a plus (everyone deserves time off and you’re willing to fill in)
