We are a personalized pet wellness company that delivers a monthly subscription of customized supplement treats for your furry friend. We are developing a metadata-driven predictive model and a learning approach to wellness based recommendations. We want junior to senior front end engineers who want to be part of a product that will be the next transformative data-driven pet tech platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Be our front-end subject matter expert.

• Build final code from wireframes and style guides.

• Write elegant, easily maintainable, readable and reusable code

• Collaborate with our startup team (UX, Design, Backend, Sales, etc.)

• Accept feedback received from end users and incorporate it into enhancing the website

• Provide guidance and timelines to future efforts

Ideally you will have

• 3+ years of experience with web development and a track record of successful projects

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field

• Experience in a startup and growth-stage environments

• Experience with a JavaScript framework such as React and its ecosystem, Webpack, Flux/Redux, ES6+.

• Experience integrating with Python back end framework Django/Flask

• Proficiency in web development cross-browser JavaScript, HTML, CSS

• Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Implementations of web service technologies with HTTP, JSON, REST

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, GCP
