Overview

LegalZoom is looking for talented, passionate, and driven engineers to join the Product Experiences team and help support our mission of 'Democratizing Law'. Software engineers on the Product Experiences team are responsible for designing and implementing websites and amazing user experiences that have scale and speed.

Please note: We have multiple openings for a variety of levels of experience on our Partnerships and across our engineering team.

You will

• Build software solutions which meet and exceed operating targets of reliability, scalability, security, maintainability and performance
• Develop and define the backend architecture and tech stack for partnerships area
• Work cross-functionally with many teams: Engineering, product, technical operations, Data Science, etc.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

You have

• Have 5+ years of experience in a hands-on software engineering role
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
• Experience with modern web technologies including deployment automation tools, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other front-end development frameworks
• Experience building and consuming APIs using one of: Node.js, C#/.Net, Java
• Knowledge of RDBMS and/or NoSQL exposure (SQL Server, MySql, Mongo, Redis, Cassandra
• Experience or desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with design, product and data science partners
