Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Salesforce Administrator you will be part of our Sales Data Enablement team in our Engineering organization. Here you will be responsible for everything from system administration for our roughly 450 users to developing improved workflows, object models, and configurations to support the business as it grows and evolves. This role will collaborate with business users, internal stakeholders, and development teams to meet the needs of the business. Candidates must have strong communication skills and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Configure and maintain the Salesforce instance, including but not limited to: creating and modifying Users, Fields, Validation Rules, Workflows, Automated Alerts, Field Updates, Page Layouts, Data Integrity standards and practices and Security functionality
  • Create Reports and Dashboards that appropriately represent complex merges and joins of the instance’s data with a care for scalability and longevity
  • Maintain all internal documentation regarding how the Salesforce Org is constructed
  • Handle all inbound User requests and respond to them in a brisk and appropriate fashion
  • Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, analysts, strategists and developers to provide the most pertinent solutions to our business requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven Salesforce.com experience in an Administrative and/or Development capacity
  • Broad understanding of CRM Best Practices
  • Proven ability to assess an existing Salesforce instance and recommend then implement ways to improve the overall scalability and reliability of the system and data model
  • Understanding of relational databases and how to optimize Salesforce data for future reporting needs
  • Experience migrating a large Salesforce instance over to Salesforce Lightning
  • Experience gathering requirements and building custom Salesforce applications
  • Ability to prioritize across several stakeholders to focus on what is highest value to the business overall
  • Great communicator and team player
  • Advanced Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Some APEX and Visualforce experience
  • Marketo experience a plus
  • Agile experience a plus
