ActiveProspect is an Austin-based marketing SaaS company that has been in business since 2004. Our suite of real-time lead optimization and compliance products are designed for companies engaged in online lead generation. Companies use LeadConduit, TrustedForm and SuppressionList to filter out unwanted leads, document consent for TCPA compliance, and improve conversion rates. We’ve proudly processed over 2B leads for well known brands across a variety of industries!

Job Summary

You will play an influential role in helping to scale and grow the feature set for our TrustedForm product, which currently handles over 15k user events per second and terabytes of data per day. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements and translating them into well-tested, maintainable, and reliable software. Your implementation suggestions will help us strike a balance between simplicity and achieving the desired outcomes for our users. We will rely on your insights and innovation to keep our products relevant and valuable for our customers. You will enjoy enhancing our current product to make it even more relevant to the end user. You will partner with other teams to make sure technologies align across the platform to provide the best ongoing, reliable experience.

What We're Expecting

• Strong knowledge and experience working in Elixir and OTP.
• Experience shipping and maintaining high-traffic, highly-concurrent apps.
• Excellent working knowledge of HTTP and REST.
• Experience with system and application monitoring solutions.
• Strong history of understanding how to configure a secure continuous integration and deployment pipeline with an Elixir app.
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty from time to time with ops duties.
• Direct participation in the decision making process.

• An active Github account that shows diversity of interests
• Experience writing sane high-concurrency systems
• Experience with wrangling very large data stores
• Experience with Erlang
• Experience with queueing systems
• Front-end HTML, JS, CSS ability
• Previous experience in Ruby or ability to read it
