Impact:

We are searching for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join and contribute to our growing travel development team based out of our HQ In Austin, TX. As a key player of the Dosh Travel Development team, you’ll participate in the evolution of our travel booking platform by generating API services deployed in AWS that are auto-scalable, self-contained and modular. You will develop, test and support restful web services that integrate and interact with our travel web and mobile applications, services and databases.

What You’ll Do:

• Be a technical leader for Dosh
• Collaborate with other engineers and product owners to identify and solve challenging problems
• Write well designed and thoroughly tested code to power our consumer travel applications
• Work directly with our web, mobile and QA engineers to release travel features and functionality to our millions of consumers
• Build scalable microservices with AWS Lambda, GraphQL, Node.js, DynamoDB, and Aurora RDS

What You Bring:

• 5+ years experience developing and deploying backend APIs or full stack applications
• 3+ years experience Node.js, REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases
• Deep knowledge of frameworks, tools/IDEs, testing and documentation
• Cloud-based architectures, development, and deployment
• Experience working in agile teams
• Experience with GraphQL and/or TypeScript is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent professional experience
