As a key member of the Visibility Reports Software Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing industry leading applications for the organization's Distribution offerings. We seek an innovative engineer with experience at a startup or enterprise level and ideally from a SaaS environment. 

You will help us by:

• Working with our Global Visibility Reports system
• Leading development of significant components on the platform and driving the future direction of the product 
• Working in a collaborative and agile development process closely with Internal & External Data Providers, QA, Product Management and Support
• Understanding key business needs and develop data solutions 
• Collaborating within the team to implement modern CI/CD orchestration 
• Updating the Visibility Reports UI to a fresh design & integrating key data widgets into the Cision Platform 
• Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Visibility Reports Analytics 

You will be a good fit for the role if you have:

• 5+ years professional software development experience
• Proficiency developing in React, JavaScript, PHP & MySQL 
• Expertise working with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of Relational Databases
• General understanding of data privacy & data protection
• Understanding of security best practices including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning

You will be a great fit if you also have:

• Experience with the following: supporting a Global high-volume client facing data rich application, agile development methodology, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), data intensive, enterprise level applications and be passion for scalable solutions to real business problems
• Technical acumen to drive industry changing software solutions forward within a highly motivated team
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical field or commensurate industry experience
