LoudCrowd helps brands market through their customers.  We believe that customers sharing the brands they love on social media is a better way to market than creepy digital hyper-targeting, and we’ve built tools to help them get their customers to post about them more.

What you’ll do:
Engineering at LoudCrowd is not just taking tickets and writing code. The product is core to our customer’s experience, and we all have a stake in building the right solution. We are expected to understand our user’s point of view and think from their perspective. Engineers are involved in feature design from concept to customer feedback to iterating the next version of the feature. 

Ownership and accountability are key. You are expected to take your task through design coding, testing, and deployment, as well as supporting your code in production. Yes, it is a lot of responsibility, but we believe this level of autonomy and ownership is essential for not only a high quality product, but a rewarding developer experience. Engineers are craftspeople, and our work is a mark of our skill and pride.

Our technology stack is a lightweight and nimble serverless Python application with a GraphQL interface to a React front end. We work in short fast iterations. The focus is kept on small minimal-touch changesets so as to keep testing complexity low and merge conflicts minimal. Code reviews help us ensure we are all on the same page, share best practices, and encourage coding standards.

What you must bring with you:

Demonstrated 5-7 years of full stack experience building product solutions for a SaaS application. (emphasis here on the full solution not just writing some code)
Front end experience using React
Backend experience building application APIs and working with database ORMs (preferably Python, but Java or NodeJS is ok)
An understanding of AWS features and, preferably, some experience using them - RDS, S3, Cognito, Lambdas, SQS

What are some social events your company does?

Every other Friday, we morph our weekly wrap up into a company event. We take the time to hang out, get outdoors, and talk about things outside of work. It gives the team a space to decompress and go over all the random things we don't get to during the week. It's a great way to build company culture while respecting work/life balance.

What does your typical day look like?

As a client strategist, I meet with my brand clients on their UGC programs and creating client stories (like case studies). I also work closely with our internal teams: engineering for new product launches, sales for new clients sold, and marketing for customer stories.
