Have you ever wondered how a small team manages the infrastructure needed to host thousands of websites? Our software engineers build systems that automate services at scale. Leveraging new technologies like custom Kubernetes controllers and cloud functions, we are able to automate the deployment, enhancement, and maintenance of our Kubernetes platform. Day to day.

• Building automated, scalable services to power our growing infrastructure
• Collaborating with an agile team that is passionate about utilizing emerging technologies and delivering high quality and timely code
• Operating with an SRE mindset: building out new Service-Level Indicators (SLIs), Service-Level Objectives (SLOs), and helping the system meet goals
• Diving into specific technology roadblocks and uncovering how we can make our platform more performant, resilient, and reliable

YOUR EXPERTISE AND PASSION

• Has experience on an agile team and is passionate about development
• 2+ years of experience deploying any (or all) of the following into a production environment: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud functions, pub/sub, relational databases, network file storage
• Has an understanding of the common WordPress technology stack: Linux, Varnish, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, and PHP
• Has experience (or interest) in the following development languages: Golang, PHP, SQL, Bash
• Experience (or interest) in: configuration management systems, Prometheus or other monitoring systems, sophisticated network configurations a plus
• Computer Science Degree or Equivalent Experience
