We are seeking a Solution Architect who is passionate about helping partners and customers achieve their business outcomes across their digital transformation initiatives. Someone who wants to apply their functional, technical, architectural, and collaborative skills & experience to help guide partners and customers to optimal business outcomes with FinancialForce Solutions and the Salesforce Platform. 

Our Solution Architecture team is a focused group of functional and technical experts whose north star is to guide partners and customers to optimal business and technology transformations with FinancialForce solutions & capabilities and the Salesforce platform, collaborating across product, engineering, sales, professional services, customer success, partners and our Accelerate team to help shape and execute on the customer solution strategy and to accelerate the adoption of FinancialForce solutions at the customer.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

Our Solution Architects have proven functional and technical skills, backed with experience in the delivery of services in complex and challenging customer environments. They play a key role in guiding partners on the optimal use of FinancialForce products in our customer environments; providing partners with delivery management to assist with detailed delivery engagement, functional & technical expertise, and escalations for all engagements; providing rich feedback to our product organization to continually improve our products; displaying a strong understanding of business challenges faced by our partners and customers; and understanding how FinancialForce solutions and the Salesforce Platform deliver on business outcomes and delight our customers.

Our Solution Architects will assist our Implementation Partners with proactive delivery management & oversight, assist in delivery engagement & escalation management, and assist on Partner Practice Success.

Key Activities and Responsibilities include:

• Be the expert on FinancialForce Product Solutions and Salesforce Platform Technology
• Build strong working relationships with our implementation partners to ensure alignment on best practices, guidelines, and methodologies
• Provide Deal/Delivery support for our Implementation Partners, to include delivery management & oversight, functional & technical expertise, delivery issue resolution, and escalation support
• Support delivery of 'best practices' guidelines, architectures, methodologies, tooling & enablement for FinancialForce’s Implementation Partners including FinancialForce Accelerate, enterprise application architectures, performance & scale, systems, business processes, technology, integrations, security, compliance, and data & analytics needs
• Develop strong alignment with product management and engineering teams on roadmap and partner, field, and customer feedback
• Stay current on the FinancialForce product roadmap to a level required for providing implementation partner solution architecture support and aid in delivering the proposed solution and outcomes for customers
• Be the functional and technical authority within the team and help resolve issues 
• Collaborate with Partners, Sales, Operations, Solution Engineers, Professional Services and Product to deliver value to partners & customers and accelerate the adoption of FinancialForce solutions at customers, delivering long term value

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Degree educated or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience as a solution architect, product manager, or consultant, familiar with ERP and/or PSA solutions market, with experience in global financials and/or professional services automation
• Be the technical authority within the team and help resolve issues within projects
• Knowledge of FinancialForce and Salesforce Applications and the Salesforce Platform, Force.com
• Highly collaborative, with experience working in an agile, data-driven environment.
• Is self-motivated / self-directed - capable of multi-tasking and accepting change both in tasks and schedule
• Some Domestic and International travel

WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT

• SalesForce Solution Architect Certification is a strong plus.
