Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Applications & IT, the  ESD will serve as an integral part of the Business Applications team, responsible for driving process improvements across the HotSchedules enterprise.  You’ll work in a variety of business systems including NetSuite, our accounting/billing system, our integration platform, Jitterbit, and have an opportunity to build and maintain a variety of other requirements as our business continues to evolve.  In addition, you’ll be expected to:

• Write clean, performant code that is a joy to use.
• Work with business partners/project managers to translate your work into user-friendly documentation.
• Communicate changes via established change management processes.
• Juggle a variety of responsibilities including end-user issues, troubleshooting existing code/processes and working through requirements for new features.
• Identify opportunities to automate and enhance existing processes.
• Set a positive tone in a team collaboration, working across teams and departments, keeping a service mentality in mind.
• You should be seen as a technical leader and partner across the organization
• Enjoy working with others to solve complex business problems while considering impacts

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience with Javascript
• Working experience in Python
• Experience with NetSuite a must
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce is a big plus
• Experience using and designing  RESTful APIs
• Experience using HTML5 and CSS
• You are a team player and have a service mindset.
• Great communication skills are a must-have
