Fundify is hiring an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience to lead our efforts to evolve and support our new online platform as we launch, measure optimize and continue to innovate our unique, data-driven marketplace.

You will be responsible for Fundify’s software development effort and will work closely with internal and external product design, development and ops partners. Ownership of the full spectrum of integration, implementation and support is key to success. Qualified candidates should have a track record of success in working in codebases related to frontend, backend & API services, database interfaces, deployment configuration, and services orchestration.

Responsibilities include production platform support and 3rd party API integrations. You will be working alongside an experienced, high energy leadership team plus a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This requires an agile approach to gathering and prioritizing requirements, milestone-based feature development and automated testing.

Initial work could be done remotely with daily Zoom standups with full team and in-person meetings. Preferably you would be located and work in our Austin, TX office.

About you:
Computer Science or Software Engineering degree, plus 4-6 years work experience
Successfully created and scaled web applications in a JavaScript-based stack
Experienced in setting up web application environments in AWS
Experienced in performing continuous support of high-load web applications
Built technology strategy considering scalability and long-term product vision
Have the knowledge to frequently assess risks & create mitigation plans
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical team members and stakeholders
Knowledge of startup investing and crowdfunding a definite plus!

Our tech stack includes:
Node v10, React v16, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, AWS (S3, DocumentDB, EC2), Kubernetes and TeamCity.

We also use:
Redis, SendGrid, Gatsby, Strapi CMS, and ZOHO CRM (Deluge scripting).
