About the role:
The Accounting Operations Specialist will provide direct accounting and operational support related to accounting systems implementation and administration, close-to-report cycle, invoice processing, vendor management and contract management. The ideal candidate must have a collaborative workstyle, keen attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.  This role reports onsite to our headquarters in Austin, TX. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Participate in the evaluation, implementation, and administration of accounting automation solutions      
• Troubleshoot issues regarding invoices, collection activities, billing, and credit card reconciliation  
• Participate in the development of standard policies and procedures to ensure consistent execution of duties   
• Collaborate internally with multiple departments across the organization to automate manual activities and streamline the flow of information
• Facilitate the accounting team’s efforts to streamline the close-to-report cycle by eliminating bottlenecks, duplication of efforts and non-value-added activities
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
• Assist in various audits (financial, banking, sales & use)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience  
• Proficient in Excel
• Keen attention to detail
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Self-driven to succeed and thrive in a dynamic work environment
