The Accounts Receivables Specialist, Collections will aid the Accounting Manager and Senior Revenue Accountant with various accounting and billing responsibilities. This includes new customer data entry, collections management, and payment processing for all accounts receivable transactions. They will also aid in monthly billing processes as well as any other month end processes as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with Monthly billing processes
· Customer and Contract Data Entry
· Collections follow up
· Resolve customer billing issues
· Reconcile customer aging with clients to find discrepancies in payments
· Negotiate payment plans with customers
· Manage customer deactivations and attrition due to non-payment
· Other proactive collection efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
· AR Accounting Experience
· Customer Service Experience
· Microsoft CRM and GP Experience (A plus but not a requirement)
· Salesforce Experience (also a plus but not requirement)
· Flexibility with workload, and able to adjust schedules as needed
· Knowledge of SaaS companies, and nature of their work
· Higher education coursework in Accounting, Audit, and Taxes
· Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
· Able to interact with our customer base to explain contract terms and billing responsibilities
· Excellent internal and external communication skills
· Experience with billing software, as well as understanding of contract billing terms
