Abrigo is looking for an experienced Controller to join the finance team. This position will have direct responsibility for planning and managing all accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have software industry experience as well as previous responsibility for integrating and consolidating the accounting for multiple business units & legal entities. What You’ll Do:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities including revenue, AR, AP, and general accounting departments
  • Manage all aspects of the general ledger including updates, system access, chart of accounts and period closes – knowing that details matter
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements & analysis
  • Assist the Finance team with analyzing results against budget and forecast
  • Establish and maintain adequate internal controls
  • Own and develop accounting policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting under GAAP
  • Research accounting issues & implement solutions for compliance with GAAP
  • Serve as a liaison to external auditors, tax preparers and other professionals
  • Drive the accounting integration on any new acquisitions, including support of the due diligence processes
  • Lead accounting special projects to completion
  • Develop and lead a high-performing accounting team, helping them grow, creating a positive working environment, and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments
  • Own it; be a trusted partner & go-to resource to understand what is happening in the business by providing advice & solutions to the ELT 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters of Accounting/MBA preferred)
  • CPA/current knowledge of GAAP accounting, including familiarity with ASC606
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate accounting including a senior management role managing several direct reports – Big 4 experience a plus
  • Previous experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller at a $50M+ software company
  • Ability to function in a growth environment & learn new processes quickly

  • Speed to results; you are easy to work with and you know how to get things done
  • Uncommon grit; you do whatever is necessary to deliver on commitments and always persevere to win
  • Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen; you can diagnose the real problem and have a bias for action
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to interact with the ELT, BOD, lenders & M&A targets
  • Experience with Salesforce & NetSuite strongly preferred
