The Finance team leads decision support for company-wide pivotal initiatives, drives business insights focused on cutting-edge business issues, and delivers critical metric reporting across the P&L. This fast-paced role provides an outstanding opportunity to drive strategic analytics and decision support in a cross-functional organization across Business Operations and Engineering.
The Role.
This position will be on the Centralized Forecasting finance team focused on infrastructure spend, centralized costs, special projects and cash flow modeling.
You will be primarily focused on partnering with G&A and Hosting teams but will also have the opportunity to work on centralized forecasting in collaboration with operations teams across WP Engine.
You will partner with the Business and the broader Finance team to build Financial analysis and reporting that will inform better investment decisions in infrastructure and overall business operations.|
The key to success in this role is developing a strong understanding of financial forecasting and reporting as well as mastery of hosting infrastructure across Google Cloud, AWS, Azure and other platforms.
The day to day.

  • Build and manage dynamic and scalable financial models, developing compelling outputs that track business metrics and performance.
  • Support the Company's monthly and quarter-end financial processes, including detailed MRR reporting and forecasting, as well as SaaS metrics.
  • Ideate potential high value analysis that could impact tactical and strategic business decisions.
  • Create business cases to support strategic capital and operational resource allocation.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses including performance, cash flow, and operating efficiency.


Your skills and expertise.

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting Finance or Accounting major preferred.
  • 1-2 years' of investment banking, consulting, private equity or investing experience, or experience on a Strategic Finance team at a fast-growing company
  • Previous experience in Hosting infrastructure and SaaS preferred but not required
  • Experience building financial models and developing automated reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, NetSuite and Adaptive Planning experience is a plus.
  • Ability to plan effectively, multi-task, and execute timely to deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with the highest regard for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to be agile, focusing on most relevant and highest priorities.
  • Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn about the Company and the industry.
