Digital Turbine is seeking a Finance Analyst who can leverage financial and operational data to provide key decision support in a fast-paced, growth environment. This individual will help drive operating efficiencies across all areas of the business and play a key role in the financial planning process.

 A successful Finance Analyst candidate will have a strong background in operational finance. They will partner with business stakeholders and provide actionable analysis to ensure operational goals are met. An ability to manage multiple projects and lead when necessary is critical to success.

 Responsibilities: 

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Planning & Forecasting: You will participate in corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-range planning in support of key departments (e.g. Product & Engineering, Sales, and Marketing)
  • Performance Management: You will provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to operating teams, gain key insights into spend trends with meaningful and actionable analyses.
  • You will build thoughtful analyses to drive better investment decisions and optimal resource allocation.
  • Business Partnering: You will build strong relationships and collaborate with business leaders to become a trusted advisor who highlights risks, spots opportunities, build simulations and sensitivity analysis.
  • You will collaborate and communicate on a timely basis with the business about monthly forecasts and other financial trends and developments

 

Business Planning & Decision Support

  • Analyze all aspects of operations, structure, and spending patterns to help identify opportunities with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency
  • Partner with other Digital Turbine finance teams to improve processes and pursue strategic initiatives across the Company
  • Develop and lead business analyses and the presentation of analyses to executives
  • Track the pacing and performance of investments and identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Support systems development and improved analytics

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of Finance and financial modeling experience
  • Previous Finance experience in the Technology sector with a focus on operations
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel proficiency (advanced functions/formulas, pivot tables, timely data processing and presentation, macros/developer skills) 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • You are self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have superior analytical and problem solving skills with superb attention to detail.
  • You have demonstrated success working in a deadline driven and multi-tasking environment.
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of forecasting and financial statement analysis.
  • You have the desire to consistently exceed expectations and take on more responsibility.
  • You have advanced (Excel) modeling capabilities
  • You have the ability to tailor messaging as required for audiences of varying levels of expertise.
  • You have personal interest and passion for business, systems and modeling.
  • You have 2+ years of progressive experience in finance or related field.
  • You have a BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Publicly-traded, high-growth technology companies preferred
