Chive Media Group is Looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead here in our HQ located in downtown Austin, TX. Title dependent on experience level.
The FP&A Lead will own financial models, budgets and dashboard that will help drive key decisions within a fast moving company. Position will report direct to the CFO and play an integral role in collaborating with business leads to execute strategic and operational decisions.
Job Description:
Lead financial planning and analysis function partnering with CFO, leadership team and department heads to develop financial forecasts, long-term strategic plans, annual budgets and operational analysis and reporting.Assist in formulating financial forecasts for evaluating new ventures / initiatives.Develop and maintain a set of automated reports covering key departmental and financial metrics.Support month-end close process including variance analysis, budget to actual, etc.Provide creative recommendations to drive growth, reduce costs and improve performance.Support corporate development and transactional initiatives.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a financial analyst or similar analytical role.Unparalleled Excel skills (That's right: You must excel in Excel).Proven knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance and data analysis.Strong business acumen, experience in Media, eCommerce or Out-of-Home Advertising a plus.Experience working with data from financial systems (Netsuite preferred).Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.High attention to detail.Hungry to learn and strong work ethic.A sense of humor.Finance or accounting degree, MBA and/or significant experience with concepts.
