Responsible for defining and managing the value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline, and budget for projects. Organizes and drives resources (capital, staff, tools) to achieve project objectives on time, within scope, and on budget. Responsibilities include overall project planning, direction, prioritization, change management, delivery, and post-delivery evaluation. Ensures project scope, planning, and implementation align with client expectations and business needs. Ensures alignment between multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manages complex projects requiring collaboration across multiple functions.
• Plays a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, processes, and tools to enable effective project management and success.
• Manages projects with complex business, operational, technical, and other challenges.
• Determines and coordinates sharing of leveraged resources among projects.
• Defines, implements, and consults on project management standards / processes for relevant teams or projects.
• Directs and manages large-scale, projects from end-to-end.
• Uses business needs and past project experience to create full-scale plans for projects, encompassing:
  • Project charter,
  • Defined project scope,
  • Deliverables,
  • Dependencies,
  • Schedules,
  • Resources allocation,
  • Support plans.
• Collaborates with project sponsors to ensure appropriate communication of expectations to stakeholders.
• Builds, develops, and grows business relationships vital to project success.
• Negotiates with Team Leaders and other WFM teams to acquire necessary personnel recourses.
• Tracks high-level deliverables across projects.
• Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential issues, and devises contingency plans.
• Ensures achievement of budget goals.
• Escalates significant, complex, business critical, or sensitive issues for information and resolution as appropriate.

Skills:

• Expert understanding of project management methodologies and requirements
• Expert ability to plan, estimate, organize, and monitor projects.
• Able to oversee or advise on project management issues and assist with overcoming barriers.
• Ability to keep multiple projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency with project management software, such as SharePoint, MS Project, and Basecamp
• Expert ability to plan, estimate, organize, and monitor projects. Advanced capability to oversee and advise on project management issues and assist with overcoming barriers.
• Expert ability to keep multiple projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder deadlines.
• Proficient with project management software, such as SharePoint, MS Project, and Basecamp.
• Conveys and / or consults on issues of moderate to significant complexity.
• Collaborates with others to achieve objectives and ensure information flow, including senior leadership levels.
• Provides process and policy insights and consultation.
• Offers guidance to TM’s and demonstrates positive impacts to team effectiveness.
• Develops complex solutions to business problems through in depth analyses and coordination with key decision makers.
• Uses experience, innovation, and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information.
• Considers enterprise-wide implications of decisions and recommendations
• Leverages understanding of  trends and emerging challenges of the customer base, market, and industry and applies that to drive project decision making.

Education & Experience:

• BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent education and relevant experience.
